Government to launch ‘blitz’ on underquoting with dedicated taskforce
The Victorian government has established a taskforce to crack down on underquoting, with a handful of measures introduced over recent years to tackle the issue failing to make the desired impact.
“The problem we’re seeing is that we’ve struggled to make it go away,” Nicole Rich, Executive Director, Regulatory Services and Director, Consumer Affairs Victoria, told Tom Elliott.
She said the taskforce would “beef up” the state’s ability to tackle the problem.
