Government unveils new Road Safety Education Complex on 3AW

The state government has announced a new world first road safety initiative, to try to stop the carnage on our roads.

3AW’s Neil Mitchell has been campaigning for an centre like this for years.

The complex is set to open mid next year at the Melbourne Museum and will feature the latest in visual and digital technology.

the community understand their own vulnerability behind the wheel and the choices they need to make to stay safe.

TAC Chief Executive Joe Calafiore has told Neil Mitchell more than 20,000 secondary students are expected to visit the complex in its first year.
