Government urged to trial four-day working week
A four-day working week in Australia could soon become a reality, with a landmark report recommending the Albanese government trial a raft of changes in the workplace.
Among those recommendations, workers would be paid their existing wage and expected to maintain the same workload, but spend 20 per cent less of the week at work.
“That’s the plan,” Greens Senator Barbara Pocock, who chaired the senate inquiry, told Tom Elliott.
