Grandfather ‘mortified’ by overflowing syringe bin at Southern Cross Station

A grandfather has been left mortified after confronting an overflowing syringe bin while taking his three-year-old grandson to the toilet at Southern Cross Station.

Mick sent the disturbing pictures to 3AW Drive.

‘He said ‘Poppy, what’s that?’,’ he explained to Tom Elliott.

‘I was mortified.

‘I didn’t know what to do.

‘I had to take him out of a cubicle and wait for another one.’

Mick said he thought it was wrong the bins existed in the first place.
