Grave concerns for Australian captured by Russian military in Ukraine war

Concerning footage has emerged of a 32-year-old Australian captured by Russia during the war in Ukraine leaving Australian officials concerned for the former Melbourne Grammar student.

Director of Strategic Analysis Australia Michael Shoebridge says the Australian Oscar Jenkins appears to be a member of Ukraine’s foreign legion.

“There’s plenty of evidence that they’ve executed a whole bunch of captured Ukrainians and other fighters illegally,” he told Tony Jones, filling in for Tom Elliott.
