Grease actor shares touching tribute to ‘delightful’ Olivia Newton-John

An actor who starred in Grease alongside Olivia Newton-John has shared a touching tribute to the actress.

Barry Pearl, who played T-Birds member Doody in the smash-hit film, said Olivia’s death is “a loss beyond imagine”.

“She emanated this amazing love from her heart that was hugely bright, and just always lived that. She always walked the talk, there was no pretention with her, it was all very real,” he told Ross and Russel.

The actor said Olivia Newton-John always signed her emails “love and light, Olivia”, and in his last email to her he was compelled to tell her “On your journey forward, just know you, Olivia, are in fact that love and light”.

“She was a delight,” he said.
