Greater Western Sydney lose draft bidding rights to young forward Todd Marshall

The first domino has fallen after the blowtorch was applied on Greater Western Sydney’s zones and academies last week.

Highly-touted young forward Todd Marshall, a 198cm key forward from Deniliquin, has been excluded from the Giants’ bidding process by the AFL.

He’ll be available to all clubs come draft time.

Marshall was zoned to the Giants, but the AFL has since ruled he had not had sufficient involvement with the academy.
