Greens co-founder booted from party over ‘transphobic’ social media comments

Former Greens activist Drew Hutton who helped establish the party nationally in 1992, claims the modern Greens are an “authoritarian cult”.

He joined 3AW Mornings and spoke about the reason he was kicked out of the party in recent months.

“I wasn’t going to censor people for simply expressing points of view which I thought weren’t unreasonable,” Hutton said on 3AW Mornings.
