Greens condemned following anti-Israel question time stunt

Liberal MP Sam Groth has condemned an anti-Israel stunt launched by several Greens MPs during question time on Wednesday.

Four MPs were booted from the chamber after holding up signs reading: ‘Vic Labor Stop Arming Israel’.

“There’s a lot going on in the state at the moment,” the MP for Nepean told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

“We’re using question time (in parliament) to ask questions that are important to Victorians – and (the Greens) are using it so they can get a social media grab.”

All four Greens MPs have been kicked out of the chamber for 90 minutes. Richmond MP Gabrielle de Vietri had accused the government of “being complicit in genocide” over a MoU the government signed with Israel in December 2022. pic.twitter.com/GNf9uusjT5
