Greens demand Victorian government overturns ‘disrespectful’ hospital decision

The Victorian Greens are demanding the government overturn a “disrespectful” decision to rename Maroondah Hospital to Queen Elizabeth the Second Hospital.

Daniel Andrews doubled-down on the decision to replace the Indigenous name when pressed about it on Tuesday.

“The government made a mistake – they should just admit it – and change the decision,” Dr Samantha Ratnam, Victorian Greens leader, told 3AW Drive.
