Greens leader reignites calls for new Australia flag as January 26 debate fires up

Greens leader Richard Di Natale has reignited calls for the Australian flag to be redesigned.

It comes as his party pushes to move the date of Australia Day, with fellow Greens member Lidia Thorpe calling for flags to be flown at half-mast on January 26 out of respect to indigenous Australians.

Speaking during his regular slot with 3AW Drive, Senator Di Natale confessed to wanting a new flag.
