The Victorian Greens want a “bike superhighway” built between Elsternwick and Coburg.

The 21-kilometre track is part of the party’s $2.5 billion “Big Bike Build” project.

“It would certainly involve some reallocation of road space, there’s no doubt about that, but the reality is if everyone is wanting to drive … then it’s going to create massive congestion on our roads,” Sam Hibbins, the Victorian Greens transport spokesperson, told Tom Elliott.
