Greens urge for urgent action to free homes for first-home buyers and renters

The Greens are urging for urgent action to free homes up for both renters and first-home buyers.

Victorian Greens renter’s rights spokesperson, Gabrielle Di Vietri  says 30,000 Victorians are homeless on any given day as close to48,000 homes are listed as short-stays.

“We’re pushing for a day cap on the number of days that a property can be listed … because we know renters and first-home buyers are absolutely struggling right now,” she told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Jacqui Felgate.
