Greenskeeper struck in the eye by golf ball in Melbourne’s south-east

A 19-year-old greenskeeper has been hospitalised after copping a golf ball to the eye.

Bailey Arnot was raking a bunker at Spring Park Golf Course in Dingley Village, in Melbourne’s south-east, when the alarming incident occurred.

“It was a bit of a gory sight,” the greenskeeper told Ross and Russel.

“But we’re recovering now and back at work today.”
