Greg Davies says Victorians entitled to ask questions over bail

Tom Elliott

Victims of Crime Commissioner Greg Davies says Victorians are entitled to ask why a Lebanese national was granted bail, despite a judge admitting he’s a flight risk.

Mohammed Hassan, 20, is facing charges over a crash at Attwood which left two people dead.

He was granted bail on Tuesday, with a number of strict conditions.

Police had argued strongly against it.

Neil Mitchell has been flooded with calls and emails from those angered by the decision.
