Group of men go on crime spree across Melbourne’s south-east

A Highett woman has detailed the terrifying experience of waking up to a group of men breaking into her home while she was home alone.

Sarah says she was woken up to the sound of the gate opening.

“I have a ring door bell camera, so I checked that, and that’s when I got the shock of my life,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

The group of men are also to alleged to have stolen two luxury vehicles as well.

“I found out later this morning that both of those cars were from my neighbours diagonally across the street from the one house,” she said.

Victoria Police have revealed in a statement the two stolen cars have been recovered and no arrests have been made yet.
