Growing number of APEX gang victims taking self-defence courses

Victims of the criminal gang APEX are taking self-defence courses concerned their attackers may return.

IDF Training at Caulfield has had about 200 people sign up in the past week.

Owner Avi Yemini believes it is in direct response to the rise of the gang Apex.

‘Some of these people have been attacked and then their attackers have been caught and let off,’ he told 3AW News.

‘I think there’s a little bit of anger and fear it could happen again.’
