Gun allegedly involved in Chapel St blue

UPDATE: Two men have been charged over an alleged incident involving a gun on Chapel Street.

The altercation occurred on Chapel Street near Malvern Road about 4.30am on Monday.

A 27-year-old Chelsea Heights man has been charged with two counts of recklessly cause injury and two counts of unlawful assault.

The man was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on July 3.

A 27-year-old Port Melbourne man has been charged with conduct endangering life and firearms related offences.

This man will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.

A 33-year-old St Kilda man was released from custody this afternoon without charge.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
