Gunman on the run after Kew shooting

A gunman remains on the run following a shooting in Melbourne’s leafy east.

The man was in the driveway of his home on Valentine Avenue in Kew when he was shot about 6.30pm yesterday.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The gunman remains on the run.

Police have kept guard of the crime scene overnight.

They’re calling on witnesses or anyone with information on the shooting to call Crime Stoppers.
