Guns, drugs and cash seized in early morning CBD raid

Police have seized more than $7000 in cash, guns and drugs in an early morning raid in the CBD.

Detectives executed a warrant at a Collins Street apartment just after 6.30am.

Two firearms, drugs and methamphetamine were seized and a man and a woman were arrested.

A 23-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with numerous offences including drug trafficking, firearms offences and theft.

A 20-year-old Melbourne woman has been charged with numerous offences including drug and firearms related offences.

They will both appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
