GWS forward Cameron McCarthy requests trade

GWS forward Cameron McCarthy has requested a trade.

But the Giants are standing their ground.

McCarthy’s manager has told the Giants the young forward wants out but GWS says it has ‘categorically rejected’ the request.

He is contracted until the end of 2017.

The news comes just days after gun midfielder Adam Treloar requested a trade to Collingwood.
