GWS Lachie Whitfield on the team’s performance in the second half of the season

GWS star Lachie Whitfield says it’s good to win a final after last weeks elimination win over St Kilda.

He says the team didn’t feel like they had played bad footy before things turned around for the team in the second half of the season.

“We just weren’t getting the result that we were after at that stage, with the new system, you get a few more games. Altogether, things start to click and get bit of momentum, anything is possible,” he told Jimmy Bartel, filling in for Sam McClure.
