Hairdresser still in the dark over staff vaccination rules

The owner of a hairdressing salon says she still has no idea whether her staff have to be fully vaccinated to work tomorrow.

Jenny Kettlewell, 0wner of Just Cuts Ringwood Eastland, told Tom Elliott she was still waiting for clarification from government.

The roadmap on the government’s website says it’s currently being updated.

“They were (allowed to) on Monday, they weren’t on Tuesday, they were on Wednesday – I don’t know – I am waiting for that roadmap,” she said.

“To be quite honest, I’m a bit taken aback it’s been so late.

“It’s funny how health workers only have to have had one (vaccination), but not others.”
