Halloween continues to grow in popularity with Australians expected to spend hundreds of millions

Halloween spending is expected to be up this year with Australians set to spend almost half a billion.

Consumer behaviour expert from Deakin University, Dr Paul Harrison, says the figures indicates Halloween is gaining popularity.

“I think the genie is out of the bottle, and we can’t really put it back in, and the bottom line is you can actually make the most of it by not necessarily buying into it,” he told Neil Mitchell.
