Hawthorn midfielder Brad Hill charged with assault
Hawthorn midfielder Bradley Hill has been charged with assault.
The premiership player was allegedly involved in a brawl at a Narre Warren nightclub in January that left a 21-year-old man with facial injuries.
The Hawks released a statement, saying they had already discussed the matter and had decided no club sanction would be handed to Hill.
‘Bradley has kept the club informed throughout this entire process,’ Football Operations Manager Chris Fagan said.
‘The leadership group has already met on this matter and has decided that no sanction will be applied at this stage.
‘The matter is now before the court and any sanction is in the hands of the judicial system.’
