‘He was absolutely flying’: Car chase through Melbourne’s south-east ends in dramatic fashion

A Ute has flipped on its side after a high speed car crash in Clayton South on Friday morning.

The white vehicle was being chased by police through Centre Road just after 5am, with witness Jesse telling 3AW Breakfast the car was “absolutely flying” at a speed of over 150km/h.

“We were standing on the footpath when (the chase) went right past us,” he said on 3AW.

Police later confirmed they had arrested two minors in relation to the incident.
