‘He was seething’: Sly sheds light on the latest revelation regarding Shane Patton

It’s been revealed Victoria’s former police chief Shane Patton lobbied the Allan government to fix the state’s failed bail system, just two weeks before he was sacked.

Sly of the Underworld told Ross and Russel the former top cop wasn’t in a position where he could publicly lobby, but behind the scenes “he was seething”.

“It wasn’t about the facts, it was the interpretation of the facts, and everybody with a brain knows that Patton was right,” Sly said.
