Health experts are are growing concerned as young Australians turn to social media platform TikTok for dietary and medical advice.

Accredited, and practising dietician, and spokesperson for Dieticians Association of Australia, Lisa Renn, says TikTok is not good for dietary advice, or for vulnerable youths.

“It’s actually quite concerning that this inaccurate information is popping up when people are searching for advice around poor body image,” she told Tom Elliott.
