Heartbreak to joy: Missing kitten rescued by mechanics on the way to school
It was an otherwise normal morning at Ultra Tune in Hallam today until an Audi A4 arrived.
Two little schoolgirls burst from car and ran to mechanic Rod Kahn.
“Help — there’s a cat stuck in our car!” they pleaded.
The sisters had been travelling to school heartbroken because their seven-week-old kitten, Nithe, had gone missing last night.
That’s when they heard the little “meow”, prompting mum to pull over at Ultra Tune.
After a short search, Rod was able reach in and save the adventurous kitten.
“It made everyone feel warm and fuzzy for the day,” he told Ross and John.
