‘Heartbreaking’: Animal Justice Party MP calls for overhaul of RSPCA laws

There has been public outcry over a dog who was left on a apartment balcony for weeks, which has put pressure on the government to give the RSPCA stronger powers to allow them to seize mistreated animals.

Animal Justice Party MP Georgie Purcell joined 3AW Drive and spoke about why she is calling for RSPCA laws to be changed.

“The most heartbreaking part for me is the lack of enrichment,” Purcell told Jacqui Felgate.
