Heather Dell Pie maestro retires after 65 years in Yarraville

A western suburbs icon is changing hands after more than six decades.

Keith Prentice’s grandmother and a great aunt arrived in Melbourne from Scotland in 1950 and headed to Yarraville to establish the Heather Dell Bakery in Anderson Street.

But the keys to the business will be handed over to new owners this week.
