Heckler interrupts press conference, gets a lesson in manners

News crews have captured the moment a heckler gets taught a lesson by a senior police officer. 

The footage on Prime7 in Albury shows a man yelling out at police during a press conference.

But the officer was quick to act – hauling the bold heckler into the station.

Prime7 reporter Paul Murphy was at the scene when the drama unfolded.

‘He’s been widely applauded for it,’ Murphy said of the police officer in question.

The heckler has been issued a $500 fine.

‘And a fair bit of embarrassment, too, I’d imagine,’ Murphy said.
