Henderson, Barlow best of the rest

Now that the trade period is officially over, there are some players in list limbo.

Gerard Healy rates Adelaide’s Ricky Henderson and Fremantle’s Michael Barlow as the best players among those who are hoping to find a new home in 2017.

Henderson, 28, played 90 games for the Crows, but managed just nine in 2016. He is a free-agent but failed to attract attention throughout the trade period.

Michael Barlow today announced that he is also looking for a new team next season. The midfielder is from Victoria and is likely to attract interest from multiple clubs.

His 2016 season was cut short due to injury, however Barlow showed that he still has the qualities to be one of the game’s best taggers if given the chance.

Some other players who are waiting for confirmation on their futures are Chris Dawes, Jarryd Blair, Jack Grimes and Angus Litherland.
