‘He’s going to kill somebody’: Witness tells of police pursuit in Melbourne’s outer-east

A witness has told Neil Mitchell of a dangerous police pursuit in Melbourne’s outer-east, with a driver cutting in and out of traffic on the Burwood Highway.

Chris said he saw the chase outbound through Upper Ferntree Gully just before 9am.

“Two cars chasing a small white sedan with a black boot, the driver’s out of control,” Chris said.

“He’s cutting through traffic Neil, he’s going to kill somebody.

“I can see an accident happening.”
