High-profile murderer found dead in prison

Kylie Blackwood’s killer has been found dead in jail.

The homicide squad is investigating.

Scott Murdoch was found dead inside his cell at Melbourne Assessment Prison on Monday morning.

He was sentenced to life in prison last year over the murder of the Pakenham mother-of-three.

At this stage, it’s unclear how he died.
