Homeless man charged with murder of young pharmacist

A homeless man is due to face court charged with the stabbing murder of a young pharmacist in his Bellfield home.

The alleged murder victim has been identified as 29-year-old Kum Chuan “KC” Leong. Mr Leong was found dead inside an apartment block in Melbourne’s northeast at 11:30am on Wednesday.
