Body found at Altona home, man arrested

A man has been arrested following the discovery of a young man’s body in Altona overnight.

The deceased man, 26, was found when police attended a home in Civic Parade about 11.20pm.

The homicide squad launched an investigation and an Altona man, 48, was arrested early Monday afternoon.

He is being interviewed and no charges have been laid.

Another man and a woman are also continuing to assist police with their investigation.
