Horse racing legend Gai Waterhouse on the spring carnival and training horses for the Valley

Horse Racing icon, Gai Waterhouse has discussed her excitement for the spring carnival and her approach to the Valley track.

She says she’s always excited for the spring carnival.

“There’s a spring in my step, it’s just a very special time of year, you get great horses and you meet very interesting people,” she told Jimmy Bartel, filling in for Sam McClure.
