Hospital data reveals alarming Melbourne cyclist statistic
Data from the Royal Melbourne Hospital reveals the number of cyclists injured on Victorian roads has doubled in the past year.
In August, 69 cyclists received medical care at the hospital’s emergency department, up from 32 in the same month last year.
CEO of the Amy Gillett Foundation, Dan Kneipp, says “it looks like it’s going to be one of the worst years in the last 20”.
