Hot air balloon comes down near Monash Freeway

A hot air balloon has come down near the Monash Freeway.

Passer-by Mark says it’s on a patch of grass near the off ramp at Ferntree Gully Road.

Nobody appears to have been injured in the incident.

Chris Miller from the Department of Transport says all lanes of the Monash Fwy remain open, and urged all motorists to keep their eyes on the road.

“It’s well and truly deflated,” he said.
