House fire sends plumes of black smoke across Richmond

Firefighters battled a Richmond house fire for more than an hour before bringing it under control this morning.

Emergency services were called to the blaze on Belgravia Street just before 8am.

The fire is sending plumes of black smoke across the area.

A heater is believed to have sparked the fire.
