How Cash Converters is dealing with the shift toward a cashless society

If there’s one brand you’d expect to struggle with the shift toward a cashless society, it’s Cash Converters.

But ignore the name – they’re moving with the times.

Cash Converters is currently trialling a system whereby you can convert your old items into an EFTPOS card instead.

Brand Manager Glenn Donaldson told Tom Elliott said most of their customers prefer cards.

‘There’s a safety issue as well,’ Mr Donaldson said.

‘Many don’t want to be walking around with a few hundred dollars on them.’
