How flood-affected Victorians can access relief payments

Victorians who have been forced to flee their homes due to floodwaters are eligible for government payments to help cover the cost of accommodation and basics.

Payments of $560 per adult and $280 per child are available for those who can’t stay in their homes.

To apply for an emergency flood payment, go to emergencypayments.dffh.vic.gov.au or call 1800 226 226.

About 1500 Victorians have already applied for emergency support payments.
