There are concerns the work habits of Generation Z – where they jump between jobs and careers – could prevent them from accruing long service leave with concern the leave could disappear.

Employment expert, Rebecca Fraser, says each Gen Z individual’s preference could mean they currently jump around jobs frequently but it doesn’t mean they’ll stay that way.

“Later in life, in their careers, they could actually choose that they prefer stability once they start a family,” she told Tony Moclair.
