Lord mayor Nick Reece revealed to Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen that he has “epic” plans for the city when AC/DC visits later this year.

AC/DC is set to play two Melbourne concerts at the MCG in November as part of their Power Up Australian tour, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of their iconic Swanston Street music video.

“We’re going to paint the town black,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
