How one meal a day could lead to a longer life
A Melbourne doctor has claimed eating one meal a day is the way to live a longer life but a dietician says it depends on what you’re eating.
Chief health officer at Healthy Life, Simone Austin says one meal is feasible if it’s well planned and hits the core food groups.
“Our living healthy report that Healthy Life did in April this year showed that Australians when we’re purchasing food for at home on average they’re not hitting any of the core food groups … and that’s over eating multiple meals a day,” she told Tom Elliott, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
