How the first few days of the federal election campaign have gone

Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese are officially now campaigning for the upcoming federal election due to be held on May 3.

Nine Radio federal politics reporter Michael Pachi told Sunday Morning Anthony Albanese’s price-gouging taskforce announcement shows cost-of-living is an easy target for both major political parties.

“I’m not really sure why this supermarket [taskforce] is not happening already, there’ve been numerous inquiries into price gouging,” he said.
