How the government can help essential workers as rental prices continue to rise

Everybody’s Home’s “Priced Out” report has revealed essential workers in Australia are spending two thirds of their income on housing, as the cost of living continues to worsen.

Spokesperson for Everybody’s Home, Maiy Azize, believes Australia has become a country where “only the very wealthy can avoid housing stress” but believes there is a way the government can help ease the burden on essential workers.
