How the perception of tattoos has changed over time
More older Australians than ever before are getting tattoos.
Whether it’s to commemorate a lost loved one, bask in their independence, or mark a new stage of life, many are opting to get ink when previous generations would not.
Social researcher Ashley Fell, from McCrindle Research, said perception was changing.
“I think the perception of tattoos has changed over time,” she said.
