How thieves are stealing popular 4WDs with staggeringly simple trick

Thieves are using Temu-bought devices to hack into and steal one popular 4WD car.
Jacqui Felgate was contacted by six people over the weekend, who all have had their 2017 Toyota Land Cruisers stolen, and multiple callers confirmed to 3AW Drive that a specific device was being used by organised crime gangs to steal the vehicles.

“It’s all to do with the push button start on the vehicle,” Jacqui said on 3AW.
“Car theft is rampant in Melbourne.”
